1. Applicant must be a UAE national
2. Submitted work must be written in Classical Arabic, except for works which
are written originally in English or any other languages or translated
works.
3. Submitted work must satisfy writing standards as per the available fields:
Literary fields (Short Story Writing Techniques / Theatrical Script
Writing Techniques / Poem Writing Techniques, ect.)
Technical fields (Photography / Painting / Design, etc.)
4. Submitted work should not be published within a previous book.

5. Submitted work should be owned by the author who did not copy any part
thereof from any other book or publication.
6. Each participant may participate with one work each year.
7. Submitted works may be submitted throughout the year at the Ministry in
both Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

8. Participant shall submit three paper copies and an electronic copy.
9. Participating work shall be accompanied with a photocopy of the passport, 2
colored personal photos and a summary of the work submitted to the
Project.
